Los Angeles County Federation of Labor

Founded in 1885, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO is the chartered Central Labor Council (CLC) of the AFL-CIO in Los Angeles County and is the second largest in the country, representing over 300 unions and over 800,000 workers.

Their mission is to safeguard the rights of working people and make a real difference for their families and communities. They empower workers to organize, because that’s the best way to ensure good, safe jobs. They fight for anyone who believes in the American Dream, especially those who have systematically been kept from it. They support policies and campaigns that will transform LA.
