Nancy Oshima held the position as financial administrator for the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor for 18 years beginning under the leadership of Miguel Contreras, and continuing to her retirement. Prior to that time, she was Administrative Assistant in the office of the Southern California Pipe Trades District Council #16, and served on the board of her union OPEIU Local 537.

Her commitment to Labor Community Services began with volunteering on annual assistance and distribution programs. As Finance Director of the Federation, she worked closely with management of LCS in preparation of their budgets, annual reports and grant reporting.

Ms. Oshima lives in Glendale and has served as Vice President of the Glendale Historical Society. She currently volunteers her time as their events coordinator.
