In response to the staggering increase of unemployment in our communities, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, Labor Community Services (LCS) and LA Trade Tech College Labor Studies will offer a class on “How to Survive When the Paycheck Stops”. This course, will survey the broad range of public and private programs designed to help adults and children in need. Designed for all union members, representatives and officers, this course outlines several strategies when the family income drops off or even disappears.
